My blog has moved

My blog has moved to http://www.geekswithblogs.net/rikoe (this does not necessarily mean I am a geek...).

My new blog allows me to post in categories, something I really wanted to do. It does mean that I lose my nice template, picture and profile though! Oh well.

This blog will stay online for a while I suppose, until everyone knows where my new blog is. (Who am I kidding? I don't think anyone really reads this blog anyway...)

Oh no! Not another blog...

That's right, I've started a new blog. While this blog will continue to exist, I've decided to create a seperate blog about all things setup.

This blog will continue to contain my personal ramblings that I don't want to bore people interested in something technical with (and vice versa) :-)

So check out: http://setupstories.blogspot.com if you're interested.

By the way, it rained like mad here in Cape Town last night! Water everywhere... Love it when it rains, even if it means I get a bit wet and the traffic is terrible coming into town.

Blogger Categories

I have mostly been introduced to blogging by reading work-related blogs on blogs.msdn.com. What I like about the MSDN blogs is that they give stats, links and most importantly, categories.

I like categories because I can filter the contents of a blog based on what topic (or category) I'm interested in. I would love to categorize my posts, but blogger doesn't seem to carry this feature (according to this FAQ). So...

  • Does anyone know a trick to add categories to a blogger blog? (Apart from having multiple blogs for all the categories... don't like that one)
  • Or maybe of a different free blogger service that features categories?

Anyway, I suppose I don't have enough blogs to want to categorize them yet!

Til later

Welcome Riko

Well, this is my first attempt at blogging. High time. If I can force myself to blog regularly, this might actually become interesting.
